Our work spans handcrafted botanical preparations, herbal education and research, and technology that helps herbalists organize knowledge and put it to work.
Fogroot is being developed alongside formal study at Berkeley Herbal Center, with an emphasis on learning the plants deeply, understanding their chemistry and traditional uses, and finding thoughtful ways to carry that knowledge forward.

Herbal Practice
Fogroot is growing toward a community-centered herbal practice grounded in careful listening, individualized formulation, and a deepening understanding of medicinal plants. Founder Chad Armstrong is currently completing herbalism training at Berkeley Herbal Center. Clinical offerings will develop as that training progresses.
